Over the course of my undergraduate studies and now my master’s program, I have been fortunate to work with and learn from a number of exceptional researchers across various fields and areas of expertise. In addition to my coursework, my own research interests have evolved and changed dramatically during this period.

From Hahnemann Hospital to Steward Health Care, Private Equity (PE) firms have increasingly been placed under public scrutiny for their roles in pillaging hospitals. Simultaneously, the academic literature examining the impact of PE in healthcare has grown substantially. Over the past year, I have investigated the differences in financial health, quality, and patient experience before and after ownership transitions.”
